It discusses lowering teacher satisfaction, turnover, changing standards and stress in the classroom. When teachers were being “mindful” they found that yelling decreased and the classes were more productive and emotionally positive. It helped with transitions in class and also decreased teachers’ reported feelings of associated anxiety, stress and burnout. Teachers sleep improved and they were less judgmental compared to the control group. Partially funded by the US Dept. of Education.
